Human-Building Interactions

HumanBuilding interactions need to be the focal po int of new generation building design approach and to include psychological, sociological and cultural dimen sions within as well as technical innovations. Technical improvements were always adapted to enhance energy efficiency of equipment and procedure in buildings until now. However, there exists an important energy saving potential by the integration of human factor in a syste matical understanding.

The studies of CEEE includes innovative approaches on thermal comfort, visual comfort, human metabolism and clothing impact which integrates human com fort with energ efficiency in new generation buildings. This studies involve the applications of computaional fluid dynamics (CFD), heat transfer and Radiative Heat Transfer subjects. EU Horizon 2020 “TRIBE” projects which was executed in scope of CEEE studies aims to adapt datadriven solutions into humanbuilding intera ctions. This studies support fundamental notions of psy chology and sociology.
